Housing Choice Voucher Programs

The Corpus Christi Housing Authority operates two (2) types of housing voucher programs. The first, and more well-known is the Tenant Based Voucher Program (also referred to as Section 8), and the other newer type known as the Project Based Voucher Program. Now while both programs are similar, they do have some major differences between the two. Shown below is a chart that depicts the some of the differences. For more detailed information please click on either Housing Choice Tenant-Based Participant Handbook or the Housing Choice Project-Based Participant Guidebook.
